Action and adventure films are perhaps the most popular on the big screen to see. So that is exactly what an action movie adventure? To a large extent defined the type is (and new) by the films themselves – those who remember the longest and most viewed by the movie buffs.
My selection below includes such diverse films as the pirate adventure and science fiction, but they all fall into the genre action / adventure, and I think some of the best films ever. Essential ingredients are a big story, or at least one can move along at a good pace. In addition, a hero, we can identify. When our hero is a little disadvantaged in any way by a character flaw or the chances are even better.

10th The Long Kiss Goodnight

6th Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
This film has managed the adventure of the Pirates in the mainstream cinema once again, long after he had gone out of fashion, but only just! Imagine the same movie without Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush – not quite the same is it?
